What UAE residency adds
Open to you because of your residence permit, not your passport. Each one is conditional — check the official source first.
- AlbaniaVisa-freeVerify
UAE Golden Visa (10-year residence) holders only. If your UAE residence permit is the 10-year Golden Visa and has at least one year left on the day you enter, you can enter Albania without a visa. An ordinary two- or three-year UAE permit does not count for this. Albania's foreign ministry does not state a maximum stay for this exemption, so confirm it before booking a long trip.

Border officers may check that it shows your name, nationality, date of birth and expiry date in Latin script.

Border police may also ask for proof of your purpose of travel, accommodation, insurance and funds. Since 1 January 2026 every tourist entering Georgia must also hold health and accident insurance covering the whole trip, arrival and departure days included, for at least 30,000 GEL.
