What we store about you

Nothing on our servers. There is no sign-up, no account and no profile held by us. Your passport and residency selections are saved in your own browser's local storage on the device you used, so the app remembers them next time. Clearing your browser data removes them, and we never see your selections.

What appears in the address bar

When you view your map, your passport and residency appear in the page address — for example /map?p=IN&r=SA. This is deliberate: it makes a result something you can bookmark or send to someone. It also means those values are in your browser history, and reach our servers in ordinary web request logs, the same way any address does.

If that is not what you want, use a private window, or clear the address after reading. When you click through to a government website from here, we deliberately do not pass your nationality or residency along — those sites are told nothing about where you came from.

Cookies and tracking

There are no advertising networks on this site. To count visits we use Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you: it records which page was viewed, the country and type of device, and a few actions such as rolling a trip or opening a booking link, never anything that names you.

Some flight, hotel and activity links earn us a commission. To credit a booking to us, our affiliate network, Travelpayouts, loads a script on this site that sets cookies in your browser and receives the pages you visit here and the links you tap. It does not receive your passport or residency selections. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser stops it, and costs you nothing on this site.

To learn which parts of the site help people and which lose them, we also use PostHog, hosted in the EU. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and is never told who you are. During a visit it records how the page is used — taps, scrolling and the screens you move between — with anything you type hidden, and with your passport and residency removed from page addresses before they are sent.

So that we can tell whether people come back, your browser keeps the dates of your first and most recent visit, beside your profile. Each visit reports only how long ago those were, never an identifier that could pick you out. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Who we share with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share personal information. We have no advertisers.

The site is hosted on Vercel and its data is stored with Neon, both of which process ordinary technical request data on our behalf. Neither receives a profile from us, because we do not hold one.

PostHog processes the usage data described under Cookies and tracking on our behalf, and does not receive anything that identifies you.

Travelpayouts, our affiliate network, receives the browsing and click data described under Cookies and tracking, so it can credit bookings to us. What it reports back to us is bookings and commission, not who made them.

Links to other sites

Every eligibility result links to a government website. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we have no control over them. We link only to official government sources, never to aggregators or agencies.

Children

This service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. As above, we do not collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the change will be published on this page before it takes effect.
