How to visit Georgia on your UAE residence permit

For Egyptian, Indonesian, Sri Lankan, Nepali or Filipino passport holders living in the UAE. Every step comes from an official government page, linked with it.

    Check you qualify

    • If you hold a valid UAE residence visa or Emirates ID, you can enter Georgia without a Georgian visa and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

    Documents to have ready

    • Your passport must be valid for at least 90 days.
    • Carry your Emirates ID or UAE residence visa — it must remain valid on both the day you enter Georgia and the day you leave.
    • Every tourist entering Georgia must have a valid health and accident insurance policy, on paper or on the phone, in English or Georgian.
    • It can be from a Georgian or a foreign insurer, and must cover at least 30,000 GEL.
    • It must cover your whole stay, including the days you arrive and leave.

    At the border

    • Georgia's immigration officers make the final decision at the border.
